We really needed help as my autistic adult daughter needed to go to the loo really badly and told us last minute. The store was quiet : at night. members of female staff hanging around the cigarette stand, and the only help give was bad direction to Morrisons. Can I rate zero, unfortunately not.I know Asda is not a public convenience, and had they helped we would have made purchases, despite spending £ at another Asda this morning. I just hoped for a bit of compassion and understanding rather than " we don't have toilets"!

Not a large store, so the stock they have is a little limited on choice. All the same it's not a bad place. Clean and well laid out with plenty of room to move between isles. The store is very well kept and bright and welcoming, staff are very pleasant and more than willing to help. There is a reasonable free car park on the doorstep, with parking spaces for disabled people. There is good acsses for disabled and again the staff are very good and helpful. Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities on site and no caffe, but that's because of limited space.

Great store to pop into when you can't deal with a full supermarket ( like glasshoughton ) Also, the young male at the self service area I think his name badge read 'Kieran' was a great help, very friendly, smiley, and extreamley well mannered which some Asda workers lack in the big store. He is the reason I thought I would review Asda, as his great customer service shouldn't go unnoticed.

Great store and staff helpful....which you don't find in larger stores. They smile here!!. BB bunch....kieron now works at M&S and he's wonderful. He couldn't do enough when I needed something that wasn't on the shelves. How Pontefract differs from Normanton(feel free to read my review, its brutal yet honest)..the staff can't do enough to help you. They smile, they are constantly stacking shelves(manager's at Normanton are you getting this?) and they dont stand there gassing to each other!. Wonderful place.
